Note on timing: the Fall semester deadline is listed as August 20 — that’s today. Worth double-checking directly with the admissions office (IR@CU.EDU.GE) whether it’s still open or already closed for this intake; if you miss it, the next deadline is October 20 for Spring semester (Feb–mid July).
Prepare your documents — CV/resume, a 3×4 photo, notarized copy of your passport, notarized copy of your diploma (high school, bachelor’s, or master’s, depending on the program level you’re applying to), and a language proficiency certificate (IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL 78+). If you’re on a degree-mobility/exchange track, also get an admission letter from your home university.
Register online using the university’s application form, and email your scanned documents to IR@CU.EDU.GE. Processing typically takes 3–5 working days.
Complete a video interview with an admissions officer.
Pay the application fee (non-refundable, sent by bank transfer) once you pass the interview — this covers translation, notarization, and processing by Georgia’s National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.
Wait for document recognition — the university translates your documents into Georgian, notarizes them, and submits them to the National Center. This step takes anywhere from 5 days to about a month.
Pay full tuition by bank transfer once your application is approved, to receive your official enrollment letter.
Apply for a student visa (if needed) at your home country’s Georgian Embassy or Consulate, using the enrollment/invitation letter and required documents.
Enroll and register for classes once you arrive, per the university’s instructions.
